Erwin Hymer Museum officially opened

Last weekend, 1.400 visitors came from near and far to attend the opening of the Erwin Hymer Museum in Bad Waldsee. On 6000 square meters and featuring 80 historic mobile homes spanning eight decades, the historical vehicle collection of founder Erwin Hymer highlights the development of the vehicles: some are from industrial production, others are fascinating do-it-yourself constructions or very individual productions.

They tell the cultural history of holidays, pioneers and the aspirations of their time. Many came directly on the opening day with their whole families, to view the historic exhibits and to explore the world and the history of mobile travelling.
