Milla & Partner is further expanding their creative team in Berlin. Lennart Günther, chartered architect and specialised in scenography, is new Creative Director as of April 2014. For the last ten years, the 39 year old Günther has devoted himself to the conception and planning of spatial communication.

As of March 2014, Andreas Friese is Milla & Partner´s new CFO. He will succeed Volker Schucht, who has successfully controlled the agency finances for the last 15 years and will be retiring soon.

As a member of the „BW Lions“ Baden-Württemberg delegation, Thomas Frenzel, creative director media at the Milla & Partner Innovation Lab, will be taking part in the world's most important festival for the advertising and communications industries, the Cannes Lions Inter-national Festival of Creativity. The „BW Lions“ will be travelling to Cannes as ambassadors for the creative location Baden-Württemberg.

Following an invite from the German Design Council, Peter Redlin will be speaking at the Magic Moments Exhibition Design Conference on June 5 in Frankfurt. He will be giving insights into the exhibition in the German Pavilion at EXPO 2015 in Milan. Within the Consortium German Pavilion (Milla & Partner/SCHMIDHUBER/ NÜSSLI.), Peter is the Creative Director responsible for the concept of content as well as for the design of exhibition and media.

Milla & Partner is happy to present Tobias Kollmann as one of our new creative directors. With Kollmann, a 41 year old communication designer and member of the German Designer Club (DDC), the agency is expanding the design strength of their highly interdisciplinary teams.

Work in progress: Milla & Partner is currently designing the centerpiece of the activities for the Carl Zeiss Foundation´s 125th anniversary this year – the celebration on May 19, 2014 in the Volkshaus in Jena, as well as an accompanying traveling exhibition. A spatial media experience will be at heart of the ceremony, taking the audience through the highlights of the 125 year history of the foundation: from pioneering achievements in the early days to exciting research and development projects in the present, and culminating in a view to what the future will bring.

The German Bundesbank has given the go-ahead for the redesign of their Money Museum in Frankfurt am Main. Milla & Partner´s exhibition concept will show four theme complexes – beginning with cash right up to the cosmos of our global economy.

On December 16, 2013, in a signing ceremony, the Italian Expo 2015 SpA coordinating firm handed over the property destined for the German Pavilion at EXPO Milano 2015 to the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi).

The image film we produced for TRUMPF has been so well received by international audiences that the Ditzinger high-tech company now distributed the film not only in German and English, but also in eight additional languages - Italian, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Taiwanese and French.

The concept for the German Pavilion at the EXPO 2015 was presented to the public today by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the bid-winning consortium (ARGE Milla & Partner / Schmidhuber / Nüssli) at a press conference in Frankfurt/Main. The Pavilion concept takes a congenial but nevertheless clear stance on the EXPO theme „Feeding the planet, energy for life“, calling visitors to action and giving impulses for the future.

The Erwin Hymer Museum in Bad Waldsee was opened a year ago. Since then, the museum has become a firm fixture in the cultural and museum landscape not only in the Lake Constance region. „90,000 visitors in its first year is a great success“ rejoiced Susanne Hinzen, Managing Director of the Erwin Hymer Foundation.

Construction under way! From 11 - 23 August, the ThyssenKrupp Ideas Park will open its doors in Essen. For 13 days, ThyssenKrupp will transform the trade fair grounds including the surrounding Grugapark into Germany´s largest temporary Science Center: a creative urban landscape full of exciting imaginative exhibits, such as the DigiTal, the Energy Park or the SpaceStation - inviting visitors to discover this world of ideas with exhibits that demonstrate solutions being developed by science, research and economy.

With their urban walks „My Stuttgart“, the foundation Stiftung Geißstraße together with the daily Stuttgarter Zeitung have a tradition of taking a closer look at the city of Stuttgart from varying perspectives. On Saturday, 30 June, a tour with Johannes Milla is on the program. Theme of the approximately two-hour tour is how aggressive or harrassing outdoor advertising can change the city image.

On 21 and 22 June 2012, the Stuttgart Media University in cooperation with Milla & Partner will host the convention „SocialMania - media, politics, and the privatization of the public“, organised by students of the faculty. Central theme is the influence of social media on politics and society. Activists and experts of the scene will trigger discussions with brief lectures in plenary sessions, including blogger Markus Beckedahl, network transparency advocate Anke Domscheit-Berg, F.A.Z. publisher Frank Schirrmacher and ProSiebenSat.1. digital Director Eun Kyung Park.

Last weekend, the German Volcanic Museum Lava-Dome in Mendig welcomed its 400,000th visitor. This means that actual guest numbers have far exceeded the planned numbers. The museum was initiated by the city Mendig, in order to enrich the regional volcanic park with a central attraction. According to museum director Helmut Koll, one reason for the museum´s popularity is the extremely positive evaluation by teachers and their recommendations.
